Mountiancrest and Boxer were two of the worst I have had but that didn't stop me from finishing the case

I'm honestly not a big fan of stouts, I like IPA's, Lagers, Pilsners, and Wheat beers more.

One of my absolute favorite beers is Young's Double Chocolate Stout on tap. It is like dessert in a beer glass.

Every bar that sells TG, sells out and they sell some of their specialty beers for up to $8-9 a pint (obviously non-Happy Hour prices) and even with only being in operation for a few years, it is already the #1 brewery in Iowa. I guess they can afford one person not liking it.

Carling Black Label beer (even remember their ditty - "Hey Mable, Black Label"), and Drewery's beer were a couple major stinkso around here and out east (Washington DC) I ran across "Schmidts". All bad....very very bad. But when you are 15 or have grown up to be a drunken sailor, you'll drink rat piss in a pinch.

Stouts and porters are probably my favorite styles, but Guinness is no where near a good stout. It's pretty bland IMHO.

You guys crack me up. I'm guessing nobody twisted your arm to drink those cheap beers. I'm also guessing that you drank them to get drunk, which you probably did and then, horrors, you puked. Oh no, it was the sh** beer not my stupidity.
It wasn't so long ago that the Beer Snob thread was on here. Those micros are looking pretty good about now. Huh?

I didn't purchase the aforementioned beer 30. And being 18 or 19, I was stuck with it. Horrible stuff.
Otherwise, I nominate Natty Light. My stomach can't handle it. After 1 beer I've thrown it up before. The stuff is that terrible.

Nice job overgeneralizing. Was I drinking Steel Reserve to get drunk and because it was what was available? Yes, did I puke from it? No, instead of finishing the one I was on (I've had 2 or 3 of them) or continuing to drink more of it, I learned my lesson and stopped because it was in fact shit. I've had crap light beers along with some actual good beer before and since that time and it was by far the worst. Honestly I would be surprised if anybody is blaming beer as being bad simply because they may have had a bad experience like a hangover or they threw up, but I guess what do I know, I'm not you.
