I have a friend who was told, during the interview process, that she was being hired as a security guard (which is what she was qualified for). She was hired by a retirement community and they had her doing maintenance, chauferring, laundry, snow removal, and very little security. So it does happen.

also, I have an interview on friday...
is it perfectly acceptable to say, when asked why I am looking to leave (especially since i have only been there about a month), is that I accepted the job based on a couple things told to me during the interview process, that turned out not to be accurate, and if told about these things during the interview process, I would've reconsidered accepting this position. -
