first day in the books

just started the new new gig today...initial vibes i got are completely opposite of the vibes i had a couple days in at the craphole i was at for the past couple months prior to this.
while there may be not so good days, from the people i talked to today and from what i have seen and heard it is gonna be good place to work for.
it has been quite a while since i have come home from work and have been completely optimistic about the situation i was in.

the training is pretty in depth, just goes fast. better than that last gig i was at for two months where the first words uttered to me when i got to the department is "our training sucks, we pretty much don't have any"
i have somewhat of a technical background so a lot of the information and terminology isn't new to me, but you have to figure out how to use all the resources available to find information you need.
