Is it still within the date? Not sure what you mean, it only has a packaging date and it was packaged this year.

You trying to say something punk? Stop using semantics to try and act tougher or I'll get after ya. ninja

Btw, how much does it take to park in the commuter lot and how early is it usually full by? I don't really want to take the train Saturday.

More semantics, you want me to drink my last one and take a picture of it in a glass for you? Will it make you feel better?

It's 20 bucks. I have tickets so I bought a 7 game pass for 100 but single cars get in for 20 (it was 10 bucks just a few years ago).

It's tough to say for this game, a little cooler in the morning, maybe some showers, a team that is just playing awful. Normally for an 11am game it's pretty full by 8am. Who knows about this week.

We always park a car or 2 the night before to save our spot.

Yes. It absolutely does matter. A tulip glass is best, but even a normal pint glass is better than just drinking it out of the bottle.

What about bottle vs can? I really love Miller High Life but for some reason it tastes so much better in a bottle vs a can.

depends on if the can is lined or not. Some aren't and it can alter the beer taste a little.

I had a glass of their This One Goes to 11 Ale the other night. It's an imperial red ale. It was quite tasty. They had a couple other of their specialty aged and imperial series, but my wife wouldn't let me spend another 8 bucks on a 10oz glass.

This is true. Oh well, it was college night at High Life so I followed it up with 2 cans of PBR for 3 bucks.

I still have you blocked but I saw Wolf quote you and I had to step in.

Canning beer is almost a universal no-no. Corporate breweries in America who sell the lowest of the low quality beer will can it because people will still drink it, it's cheaper than bottles, and allows them to push more product. Some craft breweries like Surly will also can once in a while, Surly Furious and Surly Wet come to mind, but those are generally advised to be poored out of cans and into glasses. You will once in a while find some *imported* German beer in say a liter can as well, but it doesn't happen much and having been to Germany and some massive beer "sections" of stores there and can tell you they rarely, if ever sell cans. So yes, most beers will taste better in a bottle vs. a can but done right, straight from the tap is usually going to be the best. Of course the last part depends heavily on the bar and how they store, handle, pour the beer, etc.

Also another big thing is the style of the beer which determines the proper pouring such as firkin vs. traditional tap pours, but I don't know a ton about that stuff.

Real Ale Tent with Keith Symonds at the 20...

In the Real Ale tent at the 2011 Great Taste of the Midwest, Tap master Keith Symonds explains what real ale is, and demonstrates how to properly tap a firkin--including quality control.

Happy hour at Red's Alehouse in North Liberty = 2 pints for $1 = win. Only thing is you have to get to Red's early to make sure you actually get a table or spot at the bar.
