I'm a Cubs fan, even drafted 1 or 2 Cubs to my fantasy team to be sure and represent. On a little more serious note though, ever since my grandpa died I've also been a "sleeper" Cardinals fan as well. That same year that he died the Cards won the World Series so I find it a little easier still to be a closet Cards fan, but the Cubs are still my favorite.

Cincinnati Reds fan . . . loved them since the days of Rose, Bench, Morgan, etc. Super happy they re-signed Votto to a long term deal.

No, it is a tough division and the Blue Jays seem to be getting it together - but as a Nats fan I'm obligated to take shots at the Orioles and Peter Angelos every chance I get.
I grew up a Cubs fan. But between moving to DC, having a job, and the dwindling number of games broadcast on WGN that wasn't sustainable.
Really can't believe what MLB has done with the opening day(s) this year. You had the soft opening in Japan - which was pointless, they're already baseball obsessed and because of the timing not many people in the US could/would watch live.
Then they clear the slate for a Marlins team, owned by a dirtbag, who haven't averaged over 20k in attendance since like 2005. FOR A 1 GAME SERIES! Presumably so they could showcase that train wreck of a ballpark.
Then follow that up with 6 of the 7 games today played during the day.
Which reminds me, I have to go set the DVR.

I kind of like some of the stuff at the new ballpark that make it definitively Miami (like the aquariums), but on the other hand. IT'S A BALLPARK!
When did baseball parks turn into cheesy massive stadiums? Slides in the outfield, waterfalls, whatever that thing is in central field at Miami's park. New Yankee stadium has some really nice features that are completely unnecessary (like a steak house), but it still looks like a ballpark and feels like a ballpark.

I sort of like the aquarium behind homeplate...but I just like aquariums. Probably some sort of god complex.
