Whoever came up with trail mix is a genius.

  • Who would've ever thought the combination of raisins, a couple different nuts and m&m's would go together so well?

  • I don't know, but it's my censored kryptonite.

If I mix up a batch, no matter what size, I will eat the entire thing. I'll keep putting the lid on it and putting it in the cupboard, but without even knowing it, I'm constantly getting back into it until I get sick to my stomach. Then as soon as my stomach feels better, I'm gorging on it again.

Plus the gas, my oh my, the gas.

The will is not here, the will is at my office next to the hot plate with the frayed wires.

What do you mix in yours? I just buy the pre-made bags that are usually raisins, peanuts, almonds and M&M's. I've never really thought about doing it myself.

Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.

Haha. I'm glad I'm not the only one around here that can eat a bag in one sitting.

i wouldn't call it one sitting...it just is an all afternoon grazing...just walking to the kitchen grabbing a handful at a time and next thing you know, they are all gone.

I'm not sure this qualifies as "Trail Mix" but my grandma uses the Chex stuff, dips it all in some sort of creamy peanut butter mix, and lets it dry. Then throws in M&Ms, peanuts, and pretzel sticks. Sometimes the Reeses M&Ms. My sweet lord it's soooooooooo delicious.
