What do you do....

  • When you're just going though a real "crappy" time? Besides drinking yourself retarded what is it that you guys do?

    In the last week I've been in a funk from hell and just trying to snap it. Trying to leave making passes at the old lady, handies, and booze out of it.

    This is kind of a serious question VOTH dudes. Is there life after booze, handies, and getting laid?

    No, her name is NL. Looks like she bought some kind of maroon crossover.

    She's pretty decent. Not a ten, but totally would. I actually kind of had a crush on her in high school but she was a couple years younger and I couldn't seal the deal.

  • well - i like to go down to Bolsa Chica State Beach (this is just a bit north of Huntington Beach CA) - grab a sixer of anything and just watch the waves roll in and out all by myself. greatest therapy I've ever known!!!!!

  • I get back to basics. I spend time with family or good friends. There is something very therapeutic about spending time with people who honestly care about how you feel.

  • Me and McLovin go fishing, only I fish year round if I have the strength. This year is out after the neck surgery, SO, I read, play on the computer, take a ride out into the country to look for wild animals, call up a friend and talk for an hour or two, take a walk, stop by a book store and browse, sit out on the front porch and watch a storm roll in, sit by a campfire with a bigassed cup of coffee or a beer, curl up on the couch and take a nap while watching a Cubs game, curl up on the couch and take a nap while watching a Cardinals game, sit down by the Mississippi, Des Moines or Skunk River and maybe or maybe not try and catch a catfish, dream about kicking the sh** out of someone who definitely needs it, wake up and know that your ass kicking days are long over and all you would accomplish if you tried would be a nice long stay in the hospital and other things.

    Booze helps you forget about stupid sh** for a while but it is all still there when you wake up and your head pounds and you tongue feels like it is covered in pond scum. Use your imagination my friend and think about things that have made you happy in the past, then try to repeat them. No magic cures out there, just persevere and "keep on trucking" as says "freewheeling Franklin of the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, who's sib's are Phineous Freak and Fat Freddy Freak" Keep your mind active and don't ruminate. There are people out there who likeyou and want to talk to you. Start with a friendly talk and then expand your circle.
