Well boys, sent the phone through the washing machine tonight...

  • ...and expecting an offer on a new job in the morning. Timing couldn't have worked out better on that. Verizon is kind enough to have instructions for call forwarding on their website...all you have to do is use the device and press *72. If you don't have the phone with you, just call their customer service (which is open 8am-11pm only by the way).

    Do some work tonight rice!

    Did you stay for the entire game (I did)? I can't even remember if/how my phone lived through that game because it's very possible I hadn't gotten my new one after my phone, iPod, and wallet with cc's in it was stolen at the beginning of the year.

    I actually kept mine dry for the most part by putting it in my back pocket in front of my wallet. I figured I'd rather lose out on the $10 I had there than the money my phone would cost to replace.

    Yeah, I was amazed at how many other students were as prepared as they were for that furious storm, at least I was able to get pretty close to the field after the delay! biggrin I guess maybe I should just be happy I didn't get sick after it, that was a cold damn day.

  • Thanks for asking. I got a call, but it was to tell me that there is a delay in the paperwork. They have a verbal approval from the BU leader, but they are in need of a written approval. Will be nice when this sucker is in hand since I've been waiting on it for almost two weeks now (and had my first interview with these guys all the way back in September).

    And Maury, I know a bunch of people who had to get new phones after that game. It was actually kind of funny reading all the FB status updates about needing a new phone. I'm just glad I decided against going to that game.
