Upcoming NBA Season

  • Something about the professional game just doesn't do that much for me. Much prefer college ball. I do watch an occasional game, mostly the Bulls, but if the Blackhawks are on at the same time, goodbye Bulls. Thank God baseball is almost over. Now when Dr J was playing in the ABA, I did enjoy the pro game.

  • I'm really glad I put Wahawks on ignore. Now I can open this thread and don't have to see a bunch of Miami Heat crap. biggrin

    I will be counting down the days until Derrick Rose comes back.

    I will be counting down the days until Derrick Rose comes back.

    Just curious for your take here...which would you rather?

    1) Rose returns halfway through the season, and leads the Bulls to somewhere between a 5-8 seed and a first or second round exit in the playoffs;

    2) Chicago keeps Rose out for the entire season, the Bulls become one of the worst teams in the league, and end up getting a top-5 pick in the 2013 draft. Rose returns 100% for the 2013-14 season alongside a stud rookie and the rest of Chicago's roster.

  • I am a little scared about him coming back. I hope he doesn't play scared. And from what I have heard about tearing an ACL, it takes about a year and a half to come back full strength.

    I still think The Bulls can win now. I wouldn't count them out if they made the playoffs as a 6th seed or whatever.

    I really don't know about a top 5 pick. It would be nice. Rose does need more of a #2 scorer to help him. I'm just not sure who would be out there in the draft. If the draft was really top heavy I would go with the top five pick. I still think The Bulls are in it and can win now.
