several attempts at a photo for the side and photos for the sig but no dice.

I downloaded a pic for my profile, uploaded / attached it / saved it and nothing changes.
For photos on the sig, selcted 3 from web, "attached" saved and nothing.

Did you click sigs on? And choose a layout? Also try saving it to your computer and uploading it from there.

You might have to resize them, NCH.
I don't remember putting up my sigs, but I have to resize most of the pics I post so that they're less than 1 megabyte.

It depends on what you're using to open your pics. I have some Microsoft program that's easy. What opens up your pictures?

I opened one pic using MS Paint and it has a resize feature. The pic is quite small now. And the SOB just won't load.
Maybe now with this post it will appear? Just figured it would show up in all posts.

MS paint won't do it. You have to save it as a jpeg and upload it from there. I think.

This seems like it shouldn't be so hard. I have never had to re size or open a picture with anything??? Just Google images under 1mg save image as and put it up.

its very straight forwad, not rocket surgery, but nothing is showing.
I've tried the following
siganature "on"
uploading a small avatar
uploading pics for sig - trying 1, 2 and 3 pics (.jpeg)
adding text plus just 1 pic for signature
pics for the sig from internet
yes, I can post a picture from the web. that's easy. see

Did this post add a hyperlink for "Microsoft" for you guys? It did that somewhere else when I typed the name of something. Not cool.
