I got along pretty good with my ex father in law, but my ex mother in law and I had a major blowout around 6 months before my ex and I split. It was one of many nails in the coffin of my marriage. My gf's parents are very old and in a home and I haven't seen them in years.

I feel guilty I didn't get along with my mother-in-law better when she was alive. The reason I feel guilty is because she was a great mom and grandma but I could never pretend I liked her. Now that she's gone I wish I would have for my husbands sake. I got along with her better than the rest of the outlaws did though.

Yeah, I'm not an easy person to live with, and neither is my gf. We've been together for 14 years and even lived together a couple of times but then we get sick of each others shit and separate. She has her place and I have mine and I'm totally ok with that set up.
