The girl who used to be a dude turned out pretty good. I am sure it takes the pressure off of letting that skeleton out of the closet once the relationship gets a little more serious
I think it is nice they found each other. I don't think I could ever let my teenager have a sex change. I like to think I am a tolerant parent but I couldn't do that. I'm sure they are for sure they need it done but I wouldn't do it. It's lucky they have the parents they have.
