Blonde
Hefferweizen
Dark Lager
Ryes and Shine
Doesn't matter. It's such a good beer. Quickly becoming one of my favorites since I learned about them at SXSW. Brewed in Austin, wish it was more available here. All they have is the Bock and the Family Reunion sampler sixer. The seasonal ale has been available, but I was a sixer of blondes (their light beer) and more of their Hefferweizen.

I don't really like the Bock, but I've never had much other bock to compare it to. I haven't tried any of their other stuff.

It is actually brewed in Shiner, TX which is about 80 miles southeast of Austin. It's just south of I-10 between Houston & San Antonio. I've toured the place a few times, (you get free beer when you do this). The brewery is called Spoetzi Brewery.
Don't know if you get the Shiner Holiday Cheer up in Iowa, but it's pretty good as well. The name is a little misleading as you would think it would have a Christmas type flavor, ya know, pine, peppermint, pumpkin pie type of taste.
It has a peach & pecan taste to it. Apparently it takes about 6 months. Peaches are picked in the summer & it's ready to drink around the Holidays. If you can find it, I'd give it a try.
