Rare baby white buffalo killed for its skin
A one-year-old, non-albino white buffalo, said to occur only once in 10 million births, has been killed and skinned by poachers in Hunt County, Texas. The animal, named Lightning Medicine Cloud, was believed to be sacred by the local Lakota Native American community, and the crime is being investigated with help from the Department of Homeland Security and the National Indian Council. -
