Randy Moss is a POS

  • Mr. "I play hard when I want to" thinks he's the greatest receiver of all times? I wouldn't have him on my team. He never made the tough catches over the middle where he was going to take a hit, and the Vikes grand experiment of using him as a kick returner briefly was an epic fail as he ran out of bounds to avoid contact. Sure he's fast and can outrun most of the d backs, but he's never been a team player, and always opted to NOT catch the ball if it meant he was going to get hit. When you're such a POS that you get kicked off of a Bobby Bowden led FSU program, that's saying something right there. Dream on Moss, you don't hold a candle to Jerry Rice.

    I would and the 49ers got him as a steal. I don't think he's the best but he's close.

    The dude is a huge philanthropist. Back where he came from and and communities that he lives in. Maybe he could talk himself up for being a good person, but he doesn't. I have only heard one story on it a long while back and there was so much he did and gave, but he doesn't like the media to talk about it. If he wanted people to know about it, you would hear about it all the time.

    So I will have to disagree on the POS comment

    Yes he was a great deep threat. But he really wasn't that great of a #1 wr. Yeah he had 1 great year with Brady and a few early on in his career. You can't even say someone like that should be even in the talk among greatest ever.

    I never said TO was. It's pretty clear Moss played with no heart. I will take a guy like Michael Irvin any day over Moss. Irvin did whatever he had to to win. He may not have been as physically gifted as Moss, and he may have partied it up on Saturday. But he gave everything he had on Sunday. He was a winner. Guys like that, Jerry they win Superbowls. They are winners. Moss isn't a winner. He may get a Super Bowl win but it will be as a 4th string wr.
