I (we) all said the same thing when we first started here. It takes some getting used to for sure. I'd say the pros far outweigh the cons.
They are constantly making improvements. The cool thing is too that suggestions don't seem to fall on deaf ears. Even to the very top the admins and mods seem to be awfully damn good. A refreshing change of pace.

I don't know much technical stuff. I do know why they set it up like they did and it makes sense. You can post gifs now with no size limit. You do have to click on them to view just like the pictures. And you can only have 3 pics per post. This really stops people from thread bombing. That was a big problem on the rivals main board. People would just spam threads with like 30 pics in each post. It does take some getting use to. But the people and mods here are great. Love it or leave it.

Oh yeah, I agree the mods here are way better. And no politics which is great, but I do prefer the site setup at rivals.

I don't really like the layout of the mainboard. Why you all about that? It just seems kind of blah. I don't know maybe that's just my first impression. I never tried to post there or anything.

Yeah I would like pics and gifs like that also. But I get what 247 is going after. It really isn't that bad once you get use to it. And the gif thing is actually pretty nice. It doesn't take forever for a page full of gifs to load. I guess we don't all have super fast internet like you.

it takes more time to click on each picture and close it with the way they have it set up.
there still seems to be a size limit on pics (i got an error during my 2000 post extravaganza that an image was too large)
pros, if you are at work, you won't have a questionable image just pop up on your screen. you can tell from the thumbnail if you should click it or not.
