Either getting accepted to Iowa or getting my first college A last semester. I was pretty pumped for both.

Finally getting an acceptance letter to med school after all the wait lists and denials. It turns out wait lists hardly move and one person on the subcommittee at Iowa hated PAULAs (even though almost every undergrad at Iowa had one at some point).
I was proud when I graduated undergrad. My brother, myself and my buddy were all first generation college grads and we had all grown up together since 5th grade, so it was pretty cool when our folks all came down for that. But honestly, I expected to graduate. I think my folks were more proud of me than I was for it.
One of two - graduating USMC boot camp or graduating from law school and being singled out for special recognition by the Dean. Two completely different types of accomplishments.
Life is hard. It's really hard if you're stupid.
My son was named Captain of State all tournament team in Des Moines.
When that announcement was made, I've never felt prouder.
