Made tacos, like a boss.

Sioux City/South Sioux City during the summers and breaks during my freshman and soph years of college. And then I did weekends for a few small stores (target, kmart, and the old walmart) in Iowa City throughout undergrad.

Lee to start, then was Casey. When they rearranged things a couple years ago they cut the weekend merchandisers on that route.

But I only did weekends, and usually did my main fills at night so I didn't have to get up way early. I only drove my own car and never went to the plant in CR.

yeah, usually all I did was talk to casey once before the weekend to see what sales were. And occasionally when something odd was going on.

Lee's actually the one who hired me, but he didn't so sales much longer after that. When I was in the mayflower market once the merchandiser and Lee were there and I said something like "at least you don't have to do Dr. Pepper here "(in SC Pepsi has Dr. Pep) and told him I used to merchandise (just making random conversation while I waited for them to make my sammich). He asked me if I wanted the weekend job on the spot.

I don't think I was ever kicked out of the walmart on highway 1, although I did have to argue with a manager occasionally. I was kicked out of 2 of the 3 walmarts back home. They didn't like when a merchandiser had a brain and called them out on their BS.
