Old Man Softball

Anyone play? Our league starts up tonight, was supposed to be last week, but was rained out. Game at 6 and I am pretty sure I am going to be hungover when I get there. Nothing worse than running down to first and feeling like you are going to lose your cookies

I've thought about joining a league, but have never gotten around to it. I'm starting a kickball league in a couple weeks. Sounds like a good time. Kegs on homebase.

I was going to, but I just realized the deadline was Friday for the DM league. The other leagues around here want 360 for 7 games (DM is the same price for 14), which I refuse to pay.
I didn't mean to hit the umpire with the dirt, but I did mean to hit that bastard in the stands. -Babe Ruth

I looked in Iowa and the one I'm doing doesn't have any there. You could start a franchise. It's a big organization. I'm just hoping that the ultra competitive dooshles are limited.

The fact that there will be competitive douches in a beer league (and we all know there will be) is disheartening. Some people take life too seriously. But they probably have unpleasant wives and/or don't get any nookie with frequency.

No doubt. I'm basically doing it for the nookie. I realized recently that I've lived in Austin for 11 years and I have like 2 friends and never get laid. I'm hoping kickball will free my willie.

Yeah those douches are everywhere, I mean I don't like to lose anything, but at the same time I realize what it is I am doing, and know not to take some things so seriously
