Need some opinions

  • Looking at trading the ride off.

Got my eye on a 07 GMC Sierra SLT. Any of you have much experience with these? Good? Bad? Otherwise?

  • What's the mileage on the Sierra? The SLT is a very nice package now, don't remember what it entailed in the 07 model.

    Following Todd around since 2011.

  • 65K. One owner. Clean as clean can be. Thought it had been detailed and the guys told me that's how the guy who traded it brought it in. Said they didn't wash it or do anything inside. Just parked it on the lot.

The thing is LOADED. I don't know if they had the Denali packages in 07 or not. If so I'm not sure what this truck would be missing.

    Edit:

Exactly the same as this truck except the one I'm looking at has step tubes and soft cover on the box. Otherwise identical.

  • It is a good truck.I work in the rv industry so I see and hear a lot about trucks, I can say I have never heard a bad word about it and I think they are sharp to boot. But if you get it and it is a pos don't come yelling at me biggrin

Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.

  • I got his little brother two months ago in a 2011 Silverado SLT. While my opinion shouldn't mean much (hell I drove a Honda Element for 8 years!), I love mine.

I had the dealer spray in a bed liner and put on one of the tri-fold tonneau covers. They did that for $800 total and I probably could have found someone to do it for $250 cheaper if I had shopped around a bit.

I probably need to add the side steps as well. I don't mind climbing up a bit (I think the 20s might make it a bit higher), but the wife complains about it on occasion.

I say go for it if you're in the market, but like hawkeyebrad I accept no responsibility if it ends up being a lemon fingergun
