It is a good truck.I work in the rv industry so I see and hear a lot about trucks, I can say I have never heard a bad word about it and I think they are sharp to boot. But if you get it and it is a pos don't come yelling at me

I got his little brother two months ago in a 2011 Silverado SLT. While my opinion shouldn't mean much (hell I drove a Honda Element for 8 years!), I love mine.
I had the dealer spray in a bed liner and put on one of the tri-fold tonneau covers. They did that for $800 total and I probably could have found someone to do it for $250 cheaper if I had shopped around a bit.
I probably need to add the side steps as well. I don't mind climbing up a bit (I think the 20s might make it a bit higher), but the wife complains about it on occasion.
I say go for it if you're in the market, but like hawkeyebrad I accept no responsibility if it ends up being a lemon
