Need Some T's and P's Today Folks

Got a call from my Grandma this morning, and my Grandpa, the same one that bought me the boat a month ago had a large stroke this morning. He's conscious, but not doing well, doesn't remember his name or anything like that. Any extra thoughts and prayers would be very appreciated.

Sorry to hear that pal. My grandma had 3 major strokes in the last 10 years. Its really tough to see your loved ones in that condition. Her first 2 she woke up after 2 days and had to learn to do life all over again each time. She was never the same after the first stroke and that was the toughest part for me. The last one she never woke up from. During those times i learned the value of family and enjoyed my time with them. I would support your grandma as much as you can. It has to be really hard to see your husband or wife in a condition like that. My advise would be just that. Support your grandma and enjoy your time with your grandpa. You just don't know how much more time they have. Strokes can be really hard for everyone. When your grandpa does wake up he is going to need all the support he can get. Hang in there.

A good news update. He's awake and in good spirits, flirting with the nurses and what not. Some of the tests they ran are showing it may have been some sort of siezure that he had, I guess the symptoms can be quite similar. They're still running more tests, but he should make a complete recovery.
