Keep the politics and religion away. I could debate all day about it, but I'm glad this board doesn't have it.

I agree with this. Besides, tBB allows politics and religion so if people ever really want to debate that stuff they can start a thread over there.

  • I don't buy the politics and religion would bring more people in. Just need more active posters that will generate more talk and topics. It's hard to start a board with not many active posters and the same people who have now seemingly talked about most every topic possible. But there is always something non political or non religious to talk about. It does take some time to get use to the format here from hrot but once you do it's soooooo much better it's not even funny.

there is a lot more traffic there, and they seem to have a wider variety of people age wise.

seems like most here are younger than 35, HROT has older and younger. politics probably account for some of that.

the gifs and images are a lot more fun to use on HROT. it's a little shocking that this board does not have youtube options, that would help.

i enjoy the basketball, football and wrestling boards there too.

i try to come here and HALO when i can.

This board does have youtube. I didn't think hrot did? A lot of older posters came over from another site. Froggy Mt Js are all older. They do have more traffic there. That's the frustrating thing to me. It's like people there just go there because that's what they are use to every day. I think this place would rock if we could snag just a little bit of the great posters there. Rhino, Hall of Fame and whoever else there isn't as interested in politics.

i kind of like sitting back and watching when i make a non partisan post and der gets into it with those who are of the opposite political spectrum as him

It's his fault for being wrong. I gave him a fair chance and actually looked at the website before giving judgement of his idiocy.

For why...just read my updated signature...also I figure if you DID have a big problem with it, I would know by now....
