My daughter was ambushed - beat up tonight

  • BeatBigRed said...

Today I called the Sherrif's office about serving the protection orders and found out that they were served yesterday afternoon!! The orders are in effect!

I called the high school cop to let him know the protection order has been served. He is not allowed to go to their high school.

I called his probation officer and spoke with his supervisor and let him know that Dalton Cunningham had a protection order against him. His reply: "I'll make sure Dalton's probation officer knows. Call me if you ever have a problem or concern."

Beating the crap out of him would have been swell, but I'm kinda diggin' this too.

    biggrin

lol Awesome win for you and your daughter! Love the updates of them getting owned by the system too, just think of his face after he had a sheriff showed up at his door, served him, and he found out he can't go back to school, i.e. graduate.

  • The orders were delivered to their parents, since they are minors. I find visualizing that conversation much more entertaining.

For some reason I visualize white trash parents that think their kids can do no wrong. Hopefully that is not the case though.

Imagine this: Dalton Cunningham is 17. His mother is 35. His half brother is black named David Russell and she is again pregnant.

Yea Misty, you visualize pretty well. I really hope that nobody thinks my daughter is also white trash.

Some posters here have met my daughters and I'm sure I could get them to testify on their behalf. ;-)

BBR's daughters (both of them) are very nice young ladies and know how to use a credit card.

  • I received notice yesterday that Dalton Cunningham is contesting the protection order. The hearing is set for February 4th at 8:30am.

I'm guessing he is contesting the 'stay away' from Ralston High School part of the order.

    Here's my plan:

I've already printed out the Google profile and Facebook profile you guys found, in case the Judge has an interest in seeing them.

I intend to illustrate his history of violence at school by informing the Judge of Dalton beating up a mentally handicapped boy at school when he was a freshman. (He antagonized the kid into taking the first punch, then beat the hell out of him.)

I'm going antagonize the kid to get under his skin and try to get him to threaten me. He will overhear a conversation between Mary and I when I use such words as ‘wimpy, shot nosed and pussie’. During the hearing I’ll refer to him as a boy.

I will plead with the Judge to send him to an educational program for juvenile criminals.

If the Judge allows him to attend school, I will request that he only be allowed while school is in session (No prom, no graduation), he must not park in the student parking lot or be escorted to and from his car by the school resource officer.

Hopefully the City Prosecutor will file charges against Shauna Schmidt by then, so I can have that in my pocket also.

    Other ideas?

  • I am trying to think of something more low down than beating up a handicapped kid. I can with all honesty say that during my career as a Social Worker and Program Manager, it has been my pleasure to spend significant amouts of time with MR/MI people of all ages, races and ranges of functioning. I worked on a Violent Ward (B-East at Cottage Six at Marshall State School and Hospital in Marshall, Missouri) where eleven hyper violent men were house together. It was a barred unit with barred windows and a metal full length locked gate to get inside the unit. All together I worked there for 5 years, starting out as a Hospital Attendant (the lowest of the low), and working up from there to a Psychological Technician, Psychometrist and finally a Program Manager. At that time I attended to the needs of the basketcases to the criminally insane. I also worked for a total of 15 years at a private sheltered workshop and residential program in Burlington, Ia. In all those years, with all those functioning levels and all those personalities, only one resident ever hit m and, another one kicked me in the nuts. He hit me with a left jab the broke my glasses and cut my nose open. I was trying to break up a fight between he and another resident at the time he clocked me. Anyway, my career started out in the bad old days (1974) when physical and mental abuse were commonplace and no one ever turned anyone in because of possible revenge exacted by the union. I have some real horror stories to tell about this line of work, if and when I feel like telling them. What was actually called programming and behavior modification in those days IS abuse today. Poor ole B. F. Skinner would have rolled over in his grave if he had know what was being called stimulus/response, operant conditioning and behavior modification at Marshall State School and Hospital.

Oops, sorry to hijack myself, but I guess I can't come up with much lower than beating up a handicapped guy. Of course, being the Social Worker, I might spout that the poor boy just hasn't gotten enough love, or his self esteem has been injured, or he has been the victim of bad role models, etc, etc, etc until I puke. No, the boy has not gotten enough ass kickings by peers, teachers, cops and psychologists. After hearing about the handicapped kid, lock his ass up in Fort Dodge and see what a couple years will do for him.

  • Anyone, and I mean ANYONE who harms someone that is weaker or not able to stand up for themselves deserves a special place in hell. I have spent a lifetime standing up to bullies, both for myself and for others, and it is one of my few trigger points that will move me to actual violence.

Yea, disappointing. I bought my daughter pepper spray and put Dalton's name on it. She laughed - which was nice to see. It's attached to her key chain.

Meanwhile, the City Prosecutor called and said they couldn’t prosecute Shauna because the police did a sh!tty job investigating. They needed ‘witness statements’ – which were to co-conspirators. The CP said it’s ok, any discrepancy in their story and she will prosecute.

So I found out who the ‘detective’ was assigned to the case, left a message, left a message the next day, left a message the next day, left a message the next day, left a message the next day, left a message the next day, then he called me back and gave a whole bunch of excuses why not to investigate and get statements and how the CP didn’t know the ‘realities of life’. Nevertheless he said he would go to Dalton’s home and try to get a statement from Dalton and his half black brother Dalton – ‘if they would cooperate’.

I don’t think I told all the story of the protection order hearing, but in short the kid fears me - “his fear of me is fully justified” I told the Judge. Fuq the donut eating police and the justice system. Next time I see him I’m in jail and the kid is in the hospital.

I don't really think the kid fears you but I'm glad you think he does. Not sure why it matters that his brother is half black either. Unless your crazy I just don't think a 17/18 year old kid fears a 60 year old man with more to lose.
