I'm Kajun, one of the few Gator fans who post here. I'm a 31 year old former Army Sergeant in South Louisiana (originally from Central Florida). I tend to be the quintessential southern gentlemen.....but you have to catch me at the right time. I've been diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder and PTSD, the latter coming from a 15 month deployment to Baghdad, Iraq. I'm in a relationship and we are raising her 8 year old daughter who is a special needs child.

In no way am I complaining about my life, or my current situation. I knew about her condition long before my girl friend and I started dating. She is an absolute joy to be around.
The closest thing she ever had in her life to a "father figure" is her Pe-Paw...my girl friends dad. Her Father hasn't been around since she was born and it has felt great being able to fill that void.

Thanks for the kind words! There hasn't been as much Iowa/Nebraska overlap in recruiting over the past month or two, but I'm sure that'll change at some point, especially as things continue to heat up for the 2014 class. I always enjoy chiming in on the Husker board, and hope I'm able to do so again in the near future.
