Off Topic Board

I'm jshawks or js for short. I'm 48, have two teenage kids, a dog that I share with my g/f, and a cat. I'm a semi retired professional alcoholic but every so often I like to kick it old school. I first started posting in aol college football chatrooms back in 2002 and then gravitated to what is now Hawkeye Insider (back when it was Hawkeye Nation) in 2007. I'm a member of both the scout and rivals network, but only have about 50 posts on HR. I also occasionally post on HN, but my home board was always HI. Recently some turmoil on HI led to the banning of two of my favorite posters (Bleed and NChawk) and I was invited over here by BarryZuckerhorn (who goes by another screen name on HI) a couple of months ago and it has been my home board ever since. I really enjoy the posters here. I love to crack wise and I'll pick on anybody and everybody including myself, so don't ever take me too seriously and never be afraid to give me any crap (not that that will be a problem for most of you) When football season begins I turn into a rabid Hawk fan and even my family can't stand to be around me. For years I had season tickets to the Iowa games but the last few years I have tailed off some because of 11am kicks and issues with the tailgate gestapo. I love to tailgate at Iowa games and would love to meet some of you fine folks some time.

I am Viv Savage, 23. My handle is the keyboardist from the movie This Is Spinal Tap. I came from the Rivals site and have been there for about 5 years now. I joined here a couple months ago. I went to Iowa for my first two years of undergrad and transferred to Southern Illinois when I wanted to change my major in agriculture. I'm from the south suburbs of Chicago and love all things Chicago sports.

I don't party anywhere near the level I used to, but still drink on occasion. I drink micro-brews around the house and gin when I want to get drunk.

As far as music goes, I enjoy classic rock and the blues. Rory Gallagher and SRV are my favorite artists.

I enjoy video games and will beat you down in every game out there although I don't play nearly as much as I used to.

Ok now that I am not on my phone I forgot my likes and what not. I like heroine, coke, meth and lsd. I enjoy stealing candy from babies, and laughing at midgets while running track. I like football and porno and books about war. There is literally nothing I would not do for a Klondike bar (youtube it you will see) Dendro and Misty are part time lovers for me Perk, Der and JS. No really though, I'm UI2015. I spent a while on HN - I started there about 2 years ago (and still do go there because I enjoy some posters there but the place gets old with the people ready to pitchfork KF's house to the ground). I came here on the birthday of the OT board and also made an account before that but I messed up the naming part and ended up with a town name, so I made a new handle (I know, I broke internet law 7820 section A - kill me). I am a sophomore at Iowa with a current path to Pharmacy but I'll probably switch to who the hell knows what. I have a girlfriend who is a couple months older than me because I am a badass. I'm 19 with a weirdo family, like the rest of Cedar Rapids - though I moved to a small town. I work for UIH&D this summer. I love Iowa basketball and football. I'm addicted to meth.. on AMC's "Breaking Bad" I'm a 6'3 white guy with blonde hair and blue eyes. My social security number is ___-__-____. I have the coolest dogs on the face of the planet. I was once into the drug scene but I'm off and will be forever. I drink underaged because I like to, not because I have problems, although I do have problems. If you're still reading this I'll upvote you. I like boobs. I really like women butts. I also like boobs.

Hi, I'm Froggydegremlin. My moniker comes from a kids show of the 50's. Thus, I am one of the older posters. I started being a Hawkeye fan when Gary Snook was the QB and Jerry Burns was coach. Graduated high school in Ft Madison in 1968. Went into the Navy in 1969 after working as a riveter for 15 mos at Fruehauf Corp. Was an electronics spy in the Navy. Got out in 1973 and headed to college at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Mo, which is about 60 miles east of Kansas City. Graduated college in 1976 with a degree in Psychology. In 74 I started working nights at a state hospital for the retarded because my GI Bill didn't cover the cost of a private college. Moved to Burlington, Iowa in 1978 to go to work at Hope Haven Area Development Center. Worked there for nearly 13 years and then went to work as a Family Therapist for Young house Family Services. In 1999 I started working for the State of Iowa as a Child Protective Worker. In 2008 I left the state and signed on with Mid-Iowa Family Therapy as a Community Care worker. Got fired in 2010 and then went back to work at Hope Haven. Absolutely loved being back working with the mentally and physically challenged. Retired from HH in Nov of 2011. Divorced, now live with my significant other in mt Pleasant. I've had a wonderful, highly exciting, interesting, adventurous sort on mundane life up to now and I plan on doing a lot more. I came here after being banned on HI (where I had been posting since the mid 2000's under several different names).and haven't regretted it one iota. I have done a lot (except acid) and seen a lot. I am happy to meet everyone. Oh yes, I tend to be a rather long winded story teller. Froggy
