Ok Letsgo and JWolf. I'm learning. Specifics or links would be apreciated. I-tunes is very easy to synch to my i-pods. That's why I like it.
BTW: I received notice today that my i-phone 5 has been shipped. I'm upgrading about 15 generations from a Motorola Flip Phone - the battery was getting shot and you can't get replacements anymore. ;-)
Did I tell ya all I used to be fluent in 5 computer languages in the 80's? Basic, Pasacal, C, Fortran and COBOL. I think at least 4, possibly all 5 are extinct. That's about $1500 down the tubes (1980's money). That's a lot of i-tunes.

amazon is pretty easy to use (and usually a little cheaper than itunes). just look up the album and select "Buy mp3 album". It will probably ask if you want to play it form your amazon cloud drive (whatever that is) or download it. I always select download it. It may want to install an amazon downloader (not a big deal). Then it will download.
My itunes opens and automatically adds those songs to my library. Otherwise, you can select "add folder" and the album folder is within the folder "Amazon MP3" in My Music.
That seems complicated now that I type it out, but it's really pretty easy. Once it's in itunes, plug in the ipod to update and you're down the road.

I'm not sure it's possible to spend $100 on i-tunes
