  • My Iowa football season tix. I don't think. Had them in the family since 1977. Sad day. It's not worth the pain in the ace trying to sell them from Texas. Awesome seats too...

  • I don't blame you Wiser. We gave up our tickets after the 2011 season in protest. A move that I never once regretted last year. It was the first year since the 1980's that I did not get down to Kinnick. I am still not buying season tickets this year either, and if I decide to go to a game it will be the night game, and only to come down to IC to meet and tailgate with some fellow VOTHOTers.

    Its certainly not out of protest. I just live too far away to deal with selling them individually. If I can sell them as a whole package, as discussed with several dudes here, then its more incentive to keep them. Ill support them through thick and thin. $1,000 is a small price to pay for 6 or 7 saturdays at Kinnick. No where I would rather be.

    Kinnick is a wonderful place to be on a fall Saturday this is true. But this program is in freefall. How many more 4-8 seasons can the fans endure? We stopped our season ticket purchases, not because of 1 or 2 down years, hell I've been through those, but because we saw this trend coming with no light at the end of the tunnel. We are paying a coach 4 million dollars a year, and we have not only become the B1G doormat, but we are continuing to lose to ISUcks, bottom feeders like Indiana, and now MAC teams at home of all places. I love the Hawks with all my heart, but I refuse to financially subsidize failure. All the while KF fiddles while Rome is burning.

    shrug Give what a rest? Can you honestly say there is light at the end of the tunnel? With lackluster recruiting, a conference schedule that is gettting more difficult this year, KF's unwillingness to make adjustments to his gameplan, poor clock management that never gets better, where do you see us winning more than 4 games this year? This is an alarming trend, not some deviation from the norm. When the B1G goes to a nine game schedule and we are no longer scheduling FCS schools, where is the evidence that Iowa is going to be competetive?

    i don't even think it would be too much of a hassle selling them individually on this board. i get to about one or two games a year (although i probably won't make any this year---if so, I would likely have to leave early to get back to CR for work), and i think there is enough people on here who would have no problem taking a ticket or two off your hands. i could understand just wanting to get rid of them all at once also and not dealing with any of the other stuff.
