I got a big pickup basketball game Monday

A bunch of older guys(my team even though I'm younger) vs some younger dudes. My team has the size advantage, a couple guys like 6'5" a couple like 6'2". But the other team has a dude that use to play college ball in some small school in Hawaii. And he is still in pretty good shape and workouts. Not sure how much he plays anymore though. He is like 6'2" but is pretty built. He is pretty much there only threat. They do have a younger guy early 20's that played in High School started for a 4a team. So who wins? It's suppose to be windy as hell. Kind of crappy for a basketball game.

I should say it is full court and the 2 guys on my team that are 6'5" one is like 52 and pretty out of shape. The other is like 42 and smokes everything and drinks a lot. But he did also use to play for some small school in college also.

Well we dominated. At one point is was 8-2, then one of taller better players had to go because of an emergency. There one good player couldn't do anything, 2 of us played off our guys so much we were pretty much triple teaming him all day. I think I broke my hand. I was throwing my body around probably more than I should. Man I feel beat up after only one game. That's pretty sad.

I just read this thread for the first time, and after reading the OP, I was thinking to myself that I'd give the other team the edge. Congrats on the blowout though, especially with one of your big guys leaving early!

I gotcha. It's actually pretty funny. His staff does a parody of the typical players you'll find in every pick up game - (paraphrasing here) the guy that takes it way too seriously, the guy that is an enormous ball hog, etc. They just take it and run with it, and it ends up being a good laugh.

This game was pretty funny because the other team had the guy that was taking it too seriously and a ball hog. We had 2 guys playing off their man so we were triple teaming him pretty much and he would still try and drive. It was kind of funny.
