I feel it is easiest to just leave it off the roll and sit on the counter where you can grab it when needed.

This is not a bad option, if it is on a roll though, it should be from the top.

Bunch of knuckle draggers around here. Even the Simpsons mentioned the "improper overhand method" when the DHS people came in because bart had to wear a burlap sack home.

We do it over the top so the cats do play with it, which means less chance of them drowning while drinking from the toilet, when some body forgets to put the lid down.

We don't argue about folding much. I do however always seem to put her clothes in the wrong place. She says to do tops and bottoms. And tank tops. And leggings. And sweatpants. And capris. And shorts. And sweaters. And hoodies. You get the idea.
