I'd say the most famous person I have met is Quan Cosby, former OF for the Kernels and WR for Texas. He came to my elementary school and talked to me after his speech. He was cool. I live a lame social life.

I've hung out with some pretty famous rappers because my best friend is big on the hip-hop scene in L.A and I used to go out there quite a bit. I don't remember who most of them were because I don't listen to hip-hop, but I've hung with Snoop and Xzitbit a couple times.

Also spent some brief moments out there with a lot of actors who I don't really remember. Jason Biggs, Tobey Maguire, Rachael Leigh Cook come to mind. Oh, and the O face guy from Office Space.

I'm guessing Edge of Edge and Christian.

Ya and i hung out with all of Bret Michaels band for a few hours ( not Poison) his band now, even made his drummer kiss my wife, and met Big John his bodyguard. Then my wife met Bret at a concert in Spencer for the low price of 200 bucks.

the night of my wedding reception, there was a class reunion going on in the building next door.
my brother in law went over to see if anybody he knew was over there. next thing i know, i am being told to grab my jacket and follow my brother in law and wife. Not knowing where I was going, we left the building. they told me what was happening when we left. there was a crowd following us and i waved them to get back int he building as I found out that Ron Livingston was at the reunion, and was going to come out and meet us in the building where the reunion was happening. i attached a pic

this past summer, I went to a weezer show in council bluffs. We got to the venue early, and got up front when the gates opened. Rivers Cuomo's facebook page posted a thing asking who was ready for the show. a handful of us posted that we were already up front waiting. after the show, a lady came up to me and asked me if i was who i was and i confirmed and she handed me a VIP pass to go to the backstage area. I got to meet and have my pic taken with Rivers.

Edit: i see the image is sideways..it is weird, when i take pics off my phone they usually come out sideways but typically post normal when i post them on facebook or other sites. i would turn it and repost, but you get the point.

Crown & fireball is what I'm on. Knee feels a lot better but still hurts. Ankle is killin me though. Same ankle I always sprain so nbd. Knee might be an issue going forward.

I've met a few, but got to hang out in a small group with Jerry Rice for several hours one night in the Bay Area. He's an extremely cool and down-to-earth guy.

As a Rock-N-Roll Roady, Tech. Dir./Electrician in charge of Lighting, and lightning and bombs (special effects), I met a lot of musicians during my stint on the road from 1976 - 1983. Most were just decent talented people, who looked to me to make sure all their gizmos worked and they would be able to do their shtick with a minimum of hassle. Jimmy Buffett was a particularly nice man, The dudes from Pure Prairie League were cool. ZZ Top was a hoot. Judas Priest were assholes, as were a few of the Marshall Tucker Band. The Dance companies were my meat, as the females were mostly hetero, and all the males except me - again Tech, Dir. were pee-pee puffers, so you can imagine how Uncle Nash functioned among 20 or so horny athletic dancers with no outlet EXCEPT me for surcease. But that's another story for another day. Ice Skaters (Holiday on Ice) were weird and unapproachable, but one or two would flirt and get along with us. Yes, guys too as most of them were Nancy Boys.

But perhaps the strangest and meanest was Linda Ronstadt. She was beautiful and very talented, but a head-case and what one wag on our crew dubbed: Tri-Sexual. I asked him what the fook he meant by that and he said: "If it's sexual, she'll try it!" Well, that was apparently true. She accosted just about everybody on our crew during the tour, and if she didn't sleep with them, at least let them know her door was open. No, Uncle Nash kept Bobo in his safe place, and didn't indulge. It would have been a bad, bad thing to let him out to play with her. And at the time I was making $800.00 a week and all expenses paid for. One doesn't crap on a gig like that.

That's awesome! Did you get a chance to talk to him? Or was it just a brief introduction? He always seemed like a nice guy, but you never know how public figures like that really are behind closed doors.
