I grew up in NW Iowa drinking pond water. A gin in tonic is like heaven.

Plus I don't drink soda, so tonic water is at least a tad bit healther than a whiskey coke.

I have sipped on templeton rye, it's okay.

I'm from NW IA, too. A lot of people up there think Busch Light is good beer (yuck).

I don't usually mix whiskey. Usually I sip on Templeton on the rocks.

For mixed drinks, about the only thing I'll make is a white russian. Although I use milk because I have no reason to buy half and half. Coffee should be drank black.

There's a lot of people all over Iowa who think Busch Light is a good beer. Cracks me up when I walk into a small town bar and see all people drinking Busch Light bottles.

However, I can appreciate Busch Light for what it is. A great high school/college beer, and great for beer league softball or similar activities.
