  • I have a stacked washer and dryer and I have to stand on a chair to get socks out of the back of the dryer. It still works so I'm not going to get a new washer and dryer.

  • The first thing I did after my wife bought her new laptop was down load Firefox and Chrome. I told her that I did not care which she used as long as she stayed away from IE. I hate IE with a passion. thumbdown

  • I have a "basic" 1.5 MBPS (usually tests in at just 1 MBPS) internet connection which comes free from my apartment complex because a 3 MBPS connection isn't worth my money and the 5 and 8 MBPS connections both cost close to and over $20 a month. I used to think my 10 or whatever MBPS connection that came free at my apartments in Cedar Rapids was nothing special. headslap

  • My laptop is hooked up to speakers and a sub that sit on my desk. My futon is a whole 5 feet away so when I wanna pick a new song, I actually have to get up and walk over to do it because I'm to lazy to go buy a USB remote. Or just sit uncomfortably on the shotty chair the dorm gives me.

  • the error message i keep getting every time i hit the "Post reply" which causes me to retype my response (i have now learned to copy and paste before i post)

    now my pasted response:
    my cell phone is not responsive (i will press the touchscreen and it will not do anything, then it will start randomly pushing a button multiple times), my screen freezes, i have to shut it down often. and now there are times the ringer doesn't even go off. I have had it in my hand a few times or sitting by me, and I will see the screen alert me to an incoming call with no ringer, and apparently there are texts that I have not been getting.

    at least it is about as much to terminate my contract and get a new phone elsewhere than it is to use the insurance that i have paid for every month to get a refurb.

    LG? I used to have all of that happen to me with me old shitty ass LG phones. I will never buy another LG phone specifically because of my past 2 experiences with them. I'm either going to stick with HTC's or maybe try a Samsung.

    second motorola phone I have ever had, and they both have suuuuuuucked. the only other one i had was a flip phone, before cameras started becoming standard on phones. I would have my phone in my pocket and when I would go to take it out, it would be turned off.

    my wifes last three phones have been samsungs and she swears by them. I think I am gonna jump on the iphone wagon this time around. Just too many issues with my android. The battery life sucks. another thing i don't get, I have this SD card with a lot of space, but i have maybe had no more than 6 apps downloaded on my phone. well, over time i keep getting this storage low message, and it won't go away until i delete an app. My email won't even update until i do this. well, this week I have deleted the rest of my downloaded apps off my phone.

    I've had I think 2 Motorola's and haven't really had any problems with them, it confuses me when everyone tells me Motorola's have problems and LG's are the best when I've had the exact opposite luck with both.

    You need to manually move memory over to the SD card, I found that out the hard way when I had the same issues. I thought it was an error at first so I tried ignoring it for a while but then I messed around with some stuff and moved some things over to my SD card and now I don't get the error anymore. Don't really understand why it doesn't just transfer automatically though. shrug

    but, last time i went in to see about getting a different phone from my current carrier, i was told that my phone was pretty much a dinosaur.

    i remember that one thread goofing on the mod on the buckeye board for threatening to ban people who were 1 starring all the threads.

    That one was good, and a few other ones that were started after that were also deleted promptly...I mean seriously get some thicker skin, that was so dumb it needed to be made fun of grumble

    Never heard of the Milestone, but like I said, I was just kind of f-ing around with my phone until I was able to do it. FWI, basically any phone 2 years old is a dinosaur and anything over 6 months old is "out of date."

  • just had my phone for a little over a year and it was called a dinosaur.

    i would take the effort to look more into moving the apps (just seems like the settings are very limited in the "manage apps" menu), but there is so many other things wrong with the phone that I will be replacing it this week.

    Weird, what company are you using? It's kind of nice getting reward points from US Cellular and their coverage isn't terrible, granted I usually have a ton of trouble getting reception in the big buildings the U. of I. has. I've had mine for jsut around a year now as well (HTC Desire) and I noticed quickly that my phone was already a little outdated right after I bought it.
