Bill Bates Michael Irvin and Big Erik Williams who had those huge battles with Reggie White. Williams would club White to the ground and that led to the ban of clubbing to the head for Offensive linemen (I think). He was a beast before a bad car wreck injured his leg. Also the best of the best to me is Deon Sanders! Simply the best!

if he isn't (just because i haven't thought of somebody else), he is right up there...i would have to say Barry Sanders.
the Lions were horrible, but you watched just to see what he would do. I remember in my younger years watching a couple Thanksgiving games where he just went off.
and the fact the dude just walked away and rarely is ever heard from is just badass
