Did you have pay at the pump when you started driving?

This wasn't an option anywhere when I started driving. Those were the good ol' days. When you filled her up, went inside and paid, looked at a road map to figure out where you were going, then went and met your friends and a predetermined spot because nobody had a cell phone.

I think so. Gas was about $1.30 at the time, though. So in about 10 years...gas has tripled. Sad panda.

I don't remember if it was or not. I don't remember it being something new so maybe it was. I didn't have a debit/ credit card though so I don't really know. I am glad I don't have to look at a map anymore though. It was 1997 I think gas was around $0.99 a gallon.

25 and many places don't have them in Nebraska.

Do you mean the places that make you pay at the pump? I hate those too but I haven't seen any places without the option to pay at the pump.
