This morning a judge removed the protection order against Dalton Cunningham. The kid lied under oath and created a sliver of doubt in the judges mind that my daughter had somehow provoked the fight. I think the biggest issue the judge was dealing with was that he also attends Ralston High school. The judge did not believe he had the ability to remove the kid from school. The boy is now under a ‘verbal court order’ not to come in contact with my daughter.
Mary cried for over an hour after the hearing. She is genuinely scared of the kid. In retrospect, I wish I would have turned his face into pancake batter and gone to jail myself. If I ever see him again, that is exactly what will happen.
Meanwhile, my longstanding policy of voting out all judges remains.
