sounds good to me.
Hmmm I'm not sure, I've kind of been in the mood for watching Kingdom of Heaven myself, great movie if you haven't seen it.
Sine Missione -- Never be a spectator for unfairness or stupidity, argue for arguments sake; the grave will give plenty of time for silence.
Kids got home from IC safely, so I popped a couple of Vicodin to catch up and have been drinking ice beer since.
Ok movie choice for me now: Act of Valor, No Strings Attached (never seen it before but Natalie Portman is in it), or Beavis and Butthead Do America.
Natalie Portman is hot, but unless you've got a chick with you to bang after the romantic comedy, I would go with Act of Valor.
No, I figured using the actual f bomb here would be a bad idea. I got so heated that I just drove to my childhood house.
"I was brought in here to change the culture. I'm going to coach with passion" - Fran McCaffery.
Like I said I haven't seen the movie, just thought it looked interesting but figured there wouldn't be any good shots of her nekkid in it.
Sadly, no. I was going to go with a friend from HS but he has to work at 8am today so we decided not to. I then made plans to go to the volleyball game instead, then learned a few of my friends ended up going. I wish I went, but oh well. I'm sure I'll have a chance to see him again.
Lol, roommate drama? I've had my fair share of that, that's why this year my roommate and I whom I actually get along pretty well just decided to get a 2 bedroom place so we didn't have to deal with randoms again. Granted I'm a senior, you haven't learned your lesson enough yet.
Apparently my youngest kid got to go up on stage. He got a photo with Dizzy Wright? (I think that's what he said) he posted it as his profile pic on FB.
I'm the type of guy who loves his personal space and don't like to be bothered with, obviously, as I post here. But anyways, yeah. One of them is like a mother basically and while I love my mom I don't need her to be my mom. She tells her mom everything and our parents work together so obviously that gets annoying. Shes hypocritical about parties and stuff and lately shes been having them every weekend (easy way to piss off neighbors). The Sunday party a few weeks ago really set me over the edge and was the last straw. I mean serious, being loud AF on a Sunday until 4am? Without even telling/asking if people were coming. I found out they were coming over when I walked out and saw a bunch of randos in my place.
Today tho, she asks if its cool and I said yeah sure but I'm getting up early so try and keep it calmer. Of course I don't know anyone who shows up and of course she leaves to "buy more beer" and so I'm trying to keep everything calm while nobody respects the place AND I need to get some sleep at this point to drive home in the morning. I just find it really disrespectful to throw a party and then leave. I never do that. She also always kicks my friends out because they are too rowdy but hers can do whatever and she defends them.
tl;dr - girls suck, never room with them.
Yeah, Dizzy is one of the guys signed to Funk Volume. The concert was Hopsin, Dizzy, SwizZz, and their DJ. Being up on stage would be awesome, though. Those guys aren't really big so they seem to keep it real.
You should try being married to one. I'll never make that mistake again!
Hey, how can I be your ex wife with that attitude?
I'll be honest with you. I have no idea who any of them are. I'm a dinosaur and not into hip hop. But my kid was pumped about it.
I often say "I'm never getting married" as a joke. But I am starting to think it might be true.
You're not my ex wife...you're my future ex wife.
Yeah, that's okay. I'd be geeked about it too, that's actually pretty awesome.
That's when you grow a pair and start not giving a f about others opinions, honestly I started out college kind of like you except I never like having parties at MY place because people suck and after a few years of crap like this going on. You'll learn why I have a whole bag of I don't give a fs and don't really care about what others think of me, if they're annoying and I'm around them for too long, they'll know about it or I'll just leave wherever I am.
That's the jist of why a couple weeks ago I damn near walked home on the northwest side of Coralville (past Coral Ridge Mall) from the damn Lodge before my roommate came and picked me up. I was done drinking because I drank all the beer I brought, was tired, not feeling that great, and I didn't want to be surrounded by a room full of douchebags so I said f it and started walking. It's over a 6 mile walk and I wasn't going to get to my place until probably after 8 or 9 am, but I sure as hell wasn't just going to stay there.
That's what I meant.
My oldest boy was all bummed out the other night, because he and his g/f were fighting. He told me that he never seems to say or do anything right according to her. I told him that is because she is a woman and he is man, and it would be no different with anyone else. Welcome to relationships 101.
Anyways, I'm out for a little bit to watch Act of Valor.
Yeah, well at least I can have sexual fantasies about you, unlike my current ex.
That's the exact reason I left. I'm not going to yell at her, that'd do nothing. And I really don't like partying at my place a lot. Every so often is okay, but every weekend, seriously? I avoid being there often
Yeah, women suck. My GF was getting kinda pissy today because she has a wedding this weekend and i haven't seen her since Tuesday. I was just like "Its not a big deal, blah blah blah"
