I have a 40 in the living room and a 26 in the bedroom. Also a 19 incher in my office/second bedroom/collecting crap room.
I think I've hit the limit on how big I want my TV to be. I like the 40, and every time I see something obscene like a 60 or 70 or 80 in a store I just think to myself, why do people need TV's to be this big??? Unless your 40 feet away from it it doesn't really make much sense to me.
Ah, grasshopper, you have much to learn. Come sit in my great room and watch Blu-ray movies on my 65" LCD while listening to the sound through Bose surround. You will understand why going to a movie theater is one great big aggravating waste of money.
Life is hard. It's really hard if you're stupid.
I have a 50" Plasma in my basement family room with a 7.2 Denon Surround Receiver w/ Klipsch surround speakers, a 40 " Samsung LCD behind the bar in the basement. I have (2) 32" Samsung LCD in the master and guest bedrooms on the main floor. So sad, don't watch much TV except for our regular parties, major sporting events or when getting ready for bed. Maybe a movie once in awhile.
sounds like you've got a great game day house.
I've got a 32 LCD in my bedroom that hasn't been turned on in probably 3 years. for some reason I keep paying the service fee for a box in there.
Same here perk~ except for the wife, I'm not sure why I carry anything at all.
Yeah I know. I was talking about it the other day with some friends, and it's kind of weird, because I was always about getting the bigger TV, with the fastest stuff inside it to make the picture better etc. but lately I just don't care.
I HATE how ESPN/Fox/whatever other sports channels put their standard definition broadcasts in widescreen format. For those folks who do still have non-widescreen TV's (and even those of us that do) it makes the screen smaller. Why do I buy a freaking huge TV if the broadcasts are just going to shrink it down???? This really bothers me.
Does anybody else think anybody is lying? I forgot to mention that we have 12 tv's and every one is bigger than anything claimed here.
I provided a pic. Also, no one would lie about my crappy 42" Sammy... I'm hungry.
who do you think is lying? no one has said anything too crazy.
gawd, i hope i am not lying about the size of my two main tv's.
