As I said in the other thread, flopping has been a part of the game for a long time, and I don't think it's anywhere near the league's biggest problem. The refs see these guys play in person or on tape dozens of times per season. If a certain player has fooled an official enough times by flopping, that official ought to be extremely hesitant to give that player the benefit of the doubt the next time he calls one of his games. If a player continues to flop over and over and is never rewarded for it, he'll stop flopping.
That explains a lot!
