Make your predictions now. I think Rodgers makes a late push for it but Peyton Manning will win it.
Two rookie signalcallers s MVP Meter.
What? No love for Big Game Tony?
For the record again I didn't bring Romo up first. Sometimes I think people don't talk NFL here because they think I turn it into a Dallas Cowboy thread. Which really isn't true.
That being said. If Romo gets Dallas to the playoffs somehow, he deserves MVP playing behind the offensive line he has now. But no I don't think he has a realistic shot at it.
So if Cutler and the Bears get there he doesn't deserve it? Their line is terrible....no Romo does not deserve it if they make it to the playoffs, be real
Again Dallas is literally starting 2 players on defense off the street. Chicago's defense is way better than Dallas's right now. I don't know how you could argue against that. It's a team game. Quit putting everything on Romo.
Seriously Romo has got Dallas in the playoff hunt with no running game, no defense, dropped passes all over the place, penalties everywhere. It's a damn miracle Dallas is 500 now.
That said, Rodgers is just as banged up in Green Bay and they are doing pretty well. Their Oline sucks now and they have been missing some pieces. And there are right there as well. Rodgers is the best qb in the league IMO.
I honestly think it's ridiculous to even mention any of the rookie quarterbacks for MVP consideration. Griffin, Luck and Wilson are all playing very well for rookies, but none of them are anywhere near the Manning/Brady/Rogers/Brees level.
Offensively, I think Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson should be the frontrunners. Manning is playing at an extremely high level once again, and Peterson is tearing it up even though every defense he goes against is gearing up to stop him.
Honestly, I think this could be the perfect year for a defensive player to win it. Defensive ends such as Von Miller, Aldon Smith and JJ Watt are all having monster seasons and playing crucial roles for the best teams in the league. I'd love to see one of those three win it.
Lynch, guy has been a workhorse
