You know that's right.
ihawk - You never met Burgermeister(sp) from Warsaw, Ill. Rot gut whose water was dredged up from the mud below the Keokuk dam. So bad theives lie me wouldn't steal it from peoples garages. That is, unless we were out of any other beer.
Personally nowdays, I like Killian's Irish Red, Heineken and Busch Lite.

Probably wasn't cold enough nor did you chug it fast enough. JK!!!
I just like really cold beer, I'm sure there may be a bad beer out there, just haven't run into it yet.
Frozen wasn't cold enough for Burgy. Just truly bad skunky beer!
For a good every day, come home from work and have a couple, i like Fat Tire.
for a drink all day type of beer, i typically go Bud Light
I also like Schlaflys Pale Ale, Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Bells Two Hearted. Millstream Generations and the Schild Brau
typically, I try and try different beers when I go out--for example, a bunch of us went out for beers after work on saturday afternoon to celebrate us passing our tests and keeping our jobs....i tried a Batch 19, and that was pretty decent (and i just realized batch 19 is a coors beer)

There's just too much awesome to chose one.
For brews I can get easily around here, I'd say Ommegang's La Fin Du Monde, Bell's Two Hearted, and Stone's Ruination. Peace Tree's Blonde Fatale is a good 'go to'.
For brews I can get around here, I'd say 3 Floyd's Gumballhead and Alpha King. Also Dogfishead 90 Minute is delectible.
Surly Abrasive or Surly Furious is my beer snob beer of choice. PBR is my favorite cheap beer and Bud Light is my tailgating beer.
Bell's Hopslam is very good as well. Grabbed a couple sixers of it this last year.
"A good burn is like good sex. It's simple, to the point, and leaves your victim totally destroyed."--Kenny Drebsen
i thought about grabbing some of that the last time i saw it. i may just end up doing that next time
i was just going to come on and edit my response to throw Surly Furious in that mix. I had a couple pints when I was up in Minneapolis last december.
Have you ever had it before?
no, but have heard positive things about it from the beer threads on ToS, so when I saw it, I contemplated getting it. I don't remember why i didn't
Definitely pick it up next time you see it. Even though that'll probably be next winter. If you like IPA's it's pretty damn good. Very good tasting for being how strong it is.
Yeah I'm almost positive that there is none left. I bought a case of it this year...got two sixers left
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
Never heard of it, who makes that
You know what WC Fields said - he didn't drink water because fish in it.
Life is hard. It's really hard if you're stupid.
Well I drink water specifically because fish in it.
If you like Hopslam, you'll love Surly Abrasive.
I can vouch for this. I once tried a beer with ol' Wolf at Bait Shop and it was truly one of the most awful things I have ever tasted. He loved it. My answer is one of these:
Batch 19 is actually decent. Its the best Miller product other than Coors Original.
Feeling fancy, so I picked up Busch Light for the game tonight
