I see you Hope you are prepared for the streak to end tomorrow. That is all.
I saw an opinion article yesterday, pretty much blasting D-Rose for not coming back yet, and saying he needs to come back for this game.
Being a Bulls fan, I am in the camp that he should just wait until next year, they are not going to go anywhere this year, why even risk it at this point? Patrick Kane of the Blackhawks pretty much said the same thing the other day, and I am glad that another major athlete in Chicago said something along those lines.
Why risk it? The last phase of rehabbing from that injury is actually playing in games. That is how you get better. He isn't getting any better just sitting on the bench. The only reason he should still be sitting out is he can't get over the mental hurdle of coming back, then I guess if it's still in his mind he might be more likely to be thinking about it more and more likely to possibly get injured. Shumpert was hurt the same day, same injury as Rose and has been playing for 2 months. Did you see Derrick's brothers comments around the trade deadline about The Bulls not getting Rose any talent? I just hope he isn't in his ear too much and he is "holding out" trying to make a point or something.

He will play basketball, the step of rehab as you say, when he is ready.
Yes, why risk it at this point? The team is not going to go anywhere. Rose will be rusty, and right now will probably not make them better. No reason to go out and have something happen and make things worse. Like people have been saying, only he knows when he is ready.
When that happens and he practices and plays ball all off season, he will be ready. The team will then be better after having practiced with him again. They haven't played with him all year, and you want to just throw him in there being rusty, with the possibility of getting hurt again when this team will not win anything meaningful?
I've actually seen reports that Doctors want him to play now. He could be hurting himself by not playing on it. They are the #5 seed right now in the playoffs. I hope to God Rose isn't thinking like you are and saying they don't have a chance. That would be really weak on his part. And a rusty Rose still is a giant upgrade from Nate Robinson and an always hurt Kirk Hinrich.
He isn't playing tonight anyways. So I doubt he comes back this year. They should just come out and say that. And why make him practice if you don't want to risk another injury? If that's the case just shut him down for the year. I don't get any of this.
You kidding, anyone with half a brain can see that the Bulls have no chance, then again I shouldn't be surprised, you defend Romo to no end
Hurting himself by not playing on it? Yeah that makes tons of sense
It's normal to feel pain with that injury. You need to play through it. Rose actually had his calves have a burning feeling a little bit ago. I don't remember the article exactly but it seemed that, that was caused by Rose not playing in games. It was an ESPN article.
You can't say that if they had a healthy Rose, you never know. Hell even now they could make a run. I'm not crowning Miami just yet, I guess everyone else is.
Rose is 100% so I don't know why you think it's a risk? And even if he takes this year off, he is still where he is right now, haven't played in a game that counts since he got hurt. He will still have mental hurdles.
No, there is a difference between pain and an injury
Adrian Peterson talked about it too. He said he would get this feeling like he was hurt but it would go away and he would feel stronger after it.
Well no Noah now. Really would be surprised if The Bulls win this now.
at all the calls the Heat get. Bulls playing tough short handed.
The Heat get more calls than any team I've ever seen. It's ridiculous.

Chalmers crossed half court Nate was playing tough D not even really touching him, Chalmers flares his arms and gets a call.
I was hoping nobody else would post. I wanted to see how long Maury would go on talking to himself in his Bulls thread.
They have had about 4 or 5 bad calls already. Bulls up at half though. Kirk stood strong against LeBron on a break away and brought him down to the ground. That was nice to see.
Wahawks lurks he still sees it if he doesn't post.
I came into this thread hoping it was a discussion about the best and thickest whip creams.
Man I love me some Jimmy Butler.
Stacy King just said if you're Kirk Hinrich you have to take that strong and dunk on LeBron. Man I would love a clip of Kirk Hinrich dunking on LeBron. I would watch that over and over and over.
First time LeBron has been called with a flagrant foul since 2007. Boozer got under LeBron's skin.
