Someone posted this on FB, ridiculous
I was thinking about this earlier today while looking for an 8 gig flash drive that I bought 6 months ago for 10 bucks.
It's actually kind of scarey.
I remember when my folks got our first VCR back around 77 or 78. It was top loading, had no remote and cost $600.
One of my friends bought a 4gb flash drive a few years ago. The price on that thing then was like $50. Today its like $10.

I remember our families first VCR in the early to mid 80's. not sure how much they paid. I remember getting a casette adaptor to hook up my discman to listen to in my car. Hell i remember getting that Phillips dual CD recorder about 11 yrs ago or so for about $500 or so
Anybody still have floppy discs? Or even know what they are?
Before there was space or time there was rock and roll.
I remember them. They were an amazing piece of tech when I first saw them work.
Now they are like a dinosaur scale.
I was doing some fiber optic testing on a system in Richmond Va about a year ago. I was using an old (2,000) machine that had floppy storage. The young engineer running the project said the only time he had ever seen a floppy was his first day in some tech class when he was in school.
Things are moving fast in technology these days . That is a good thing.
