Where are you going for vacation this summer?
Des Moines, Iowa; New Branfels, Texas; Maybe Denver, Colorado.
We're headed to Chicago for a 3 day weekend. We're also going Door County for a 4 day vacation over the 4th of July.
Me neither. I will probably take a few long weekends to do some stuff with the kids that aren't so far away. I just don't know what yet.
Riding Ragbrai at the end of July. Going to Branson for my wife's grandparents 60th anniversary in July as well.( you can't believe how incredibly excited I am for this ) I'm going on a cruise in January. That is my big vacation for the year.
The girls and I are heading to NYC this Saturday for a week. The only thing we have planned is a Broadway show.
Mary wants to get a tattoo and I've been thinking about getting one with her. I don't know what though. I was thinking a Brett Bielema kind of tat.
Did you get the Mother's Day thing worked out?
The will is not here, the will is at my office next to the hot plate with the frayed wires.
I'm going fishing in Canada with my dad in September. Wifey is taking the kids to Chicago w/her parents during that week.
We'll probably spend a few days with my parents and do the Omaha Zoo again.
Not really. My ex is more than a little pissed.
I'm jealous. I've never been fishing that far north. I have friends that go up there every year, but I've never been able to make it with them.
Just watched "Arrested Development" for the first time this weekend. Saw about 4 episodes. Really enjoyed them and NOW I know who Barry Zuckerkorn really is. Damn good show.
Panama City next week and key west In September for honeymoon
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
Excellent! I hope you watched them in order. The gloriousness of the running jokes are best appreciated if the show is watched in order.
Also, a new season is coming out in ~3 weeks. Should be plenty of time to plow through the first 3 seasons, right?
This will be my second trip, technically.
I went about 12-13 years ago, and we stayed on the US side of Rainy Lake, and got remote access passes that allowed us to boat into Canada water to fish. It was OK, but this should be a much better experience.
We're staying here: http://stanleys.com/
I'm pretty damn excited. My dad is getting older (63), and doing a Canada trip with him has been on my mind for a while.
I am the same age as your father, want to take me along so he'll have someone to talk to? Went fishing in northern Ont (north of Red Lake about 35 miles on a gravel road to a place called Lake Kirkness) with a neighbor and his son. Awesome fishing and wildlife.
