What projects do you have going on for the summer? We are painting the house and putting in some new windows I think a new floor for the kitchen maybe paint some rooms.
Grill food and drink beer counts as a summer project right?
Get my house ready to put on the market.
We need to repaint the deck and paint our master bedroom.
Fix the grade around my house, fix the gutters so they don't leak at the seams and so the water actually runs to the downspouts, build a firepit. Love being a first time homeowner.
Oh and grill, swim in my pool, and drink beer all summer.
Finish the railing on our deck steps. We built the deck 3 years ago! (only two steps down, but still :/)
I think I'm going to put a french drain in the backyard this fall. Every spring it's a swamp and I decide I'm going to do it, but come August it's hard as concrete and I talk myself out of it.
Plant a garden.
I think I'm going to hold off on the bigger landscaping projects until next year.
The will is not here, the will is at my office next to the hot plate with the frayed wires.
Moving. As soon as we close there's going to be lots of projects... Painting, flooring, ect, ect....

New town or just moving houses?
Also, does your wife still have the quilt/sewing shop?
Yeah, new town but just to the neighboring town. (read: not New Hartford)
No, she's been selling some online, but doesn't have the physical shop anymore.
Was one thing after another with the building, and she was selling just as much online. Too much overhead and she had an opportunity to go back to her old job, which has allowed her to work part time since the little one was born. All in all, for the most part it's worked out for the best
Nice. I'm a big believer in online business models, so it's cool she could make it work without a physical location.
My wife had a rent free massage space for 10+ years. Her dad sold his business, and she'll have to start paying rent at the beginning of next year. We've been looking around town at small houses and buildings on main st, but for no more business than she does, I kinda want her to give it up and just focus on our online business.
Just finished hand forking the garden. Bring on the jokes. That is a lot of work though. Couldn't even start until last week. Too much snow.
Home improvement if possible. Probably be on the road hooking up fiber optic networks of various sizes and configurations for a while
Definitely going to put the camper on a bit and do some fishing.. Want to hit Glacier NP again this year.

How big is your garden?
I'm going to make a beer pong table and possible a new bed frame.
"I was brought in here to change the culture. I'm going to coach with passion" - Fran McCaffery.
It's built French Terrace style into a hillside next to our pond. The top one is about 8' by 40. The next one is about 8X30 with a raspberry patch 8X20 which I don't till. The bottom is the biggest, about 50 X 8. There is also a nice little strawberry patch next to the raspberries.
Post some pics in the Garden Porn Thread, because I would love to see it.
You forked that whole thing? No tilling?
BZ, I gave it a shot today. No pun intended. My camera was not cooperating. I try again later.
