I saw Dan Patrick's beer in the store so I broke down and paid a couple extra bucks for a sixer. Any of you beer connoisseurs tried it before?
Never had it. Scores an 81% on Beer Advocate. Probably pretty decent. They do a rotating seasonal pale ale. I tried the one that was brewed with tea leaves last year. Not my favorite beer, as I'm not a big tea drinker, and the taste was noticeable to me. But for someone who enjoys tea, it would probably be quite good.
I opened up a Green Flash Palate Wrecker yesterday. Wow. Fantastic Imperial IPA that lives up to it's name.
I guess it's suppose to be a beer you can slam a few while watching a game. So I will watch the Bulls game tonight drink a few and about Derrick Rose still not playing.
Updates are required.
I don't stray too far from beer like probably most of you. If I buy some Red Stripe that's going crazy for me. But I liked it they have sayings and people who call into Dan Patrick under the bottle cap. The bottle looked pretty damn cool too. It was kind of like a light beer but not like watered down like most domestics. Pretty sure I would drink some more again.
Thanks, I'll check OT out sometime.
The tap is pretty cool.
Redhook teamed up with Dan Patrick to brew a crushable craft beer for watching sports: Audible Ale. The beer has been a collaboration between Patrick and Redhook from day one, with DP helping determine the beer style, packaging and even tap handle. This is Dan seeing the handle for the first time. Ball game!
