Anybody else think this guy's a hack? I watched Django Unchained the other night and was not impressed. Not bad, but not good. I did like Pulp Fiction, but anything with Travolta isn't going to be great, because he's a terrible actor. Jackie Brown wasn't bad. Inglourious Basterds was his best, IMO. The Kill Bill movies were just awful. Reservoir Dogs was highly overrated.
The love that his movies get kinda has me scratching my head. I think he tries way too hard to be creative and the common, alternative folk that think being artistic is cool, eat it up and think it makes them look quirky and smart by saying they like his movies and there's some sort of artistic part of their brain that it opened up.
Something really cool I don't know about?
Signature goes here
Yes. But why?
I liked Death Proof a lot, I enjoy his movies but don't love them and now they are making Kill Bill 3, when Bill is dead? That chick daughter must be going after Uma, I think he is pretty funny himself however.
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
Love the Four Rooms Zippo scene.
Pulp Fiction may be my favorite movie of all time. It has its moments where I want to punch everyone for being an idiot but its beautiful. Reservoir Dogs isn't nearly as good but its still good. Pretty f-ed up movie but I liked it. Inglorious Basterds was really good. My 2nd of the 3 I've seen. I really want to See Django Unchained and I'm going to watch the Kill Bills at some point. I like Tarantino.

Let's not be forgetting about From Dusk Till Dawn....
And how bad it was?
I have to agree with Perk. I think QT's movies are highly overated, and some are just downright strange.
You tell me.
From dusk till dawn Salma Hayek dancing 1080p
I was never so disappointed in a movie as this one. It started out so good, and just went to not long after this dance.
I think Tarantino's buddy Robert Rodriquez directed the first half of the movie and QT directed the last half. I agree, it did start off good and then went to crap when Tarantino took over.
It sure did a complete 180, that's for damn sure.
oh yeah...new badges that we haven't got yet
Yep. Soooo.... agree.
Before there was space or time there was rock and roll.
I disagree with you on this one Perk. The guy comes up with original. If you don't like Uma in Kill Bill you are ..........
I actually think Uma is ugly as hell.
I guess I can see where you're coming from with QT being original, I just don't understand what's special about it. I can be original and unique by doing something nobody else has done, but that doesn't make me good. Just different.

Being original in today's movie scene is pretty hard to do and is refreshing with all of the rehashed movies and sequals being thrown out there. I QT and want to see his latest, haven't seen it yet.
Ummm... ok Perk. You have done would, on some questionable s on wouldja, who were worse than Uma imo.
We are all entitled to our own opinion tho....
Are you doing some original and unique stuff you're not letting us in on now? I'll bet you might be.
I didn't say I wouldn't do her. Just don't find her attractive.
Ok bad boy. I heard through the grapevine she thinks of you the same way. About my sources? Don't ask.
You know with Tarantino he is the type of director you love, or hate. Like Kevin Smith yadda whatever, if you like off the wall strange shit he is the man, I happen to like that stuff so f off
I also don't find Uma attractive at all but I still like QT.
