A truck driver brought in some food from home in a tupperware thingie and heated it up in the store. Bought a soda and went out to his truck to eat. I'm pretty sure he wasn't delivering anything to the store, just stopped in to use the microwave and grab a soda.
I don't really have an opinion on it, just have never seen it. I guess that's the only way someone with a job like that could keep from eating out everyday or eating cold food for lunch everyday. Grab something from home, throw it in a cooler in your truck and stop into the local Shell station to heat it up when you're ready to eat.
It kind of happens a lot. It is one of those things you would never think about though. Usually they buy something to drink or cigarettes or whatever.
Its a good idea though. We had truck drivers come to the gas station I worked at in HS and buy an entire large pizza. Probably eat half and save the other half for the morning. Its the easiest way for them to get buy without spending a ton or eating really unhealthy every meal.
