How was the trip? Did you end up going to Nye's?
Unfortunately we didn't get to do a heck of a lot that I wanted to do. Wife had a bad case of strep throat all weekend. My Sunday morning was spent at an urgent care clinic so she could get some antibiotics (they also had her at a 104 temperature) and then most of sunday hanging out at the hotel. We tried to hit up the Blue Door Pub on Sunday night before the Wild game, but they had a party there so the place was packed and had an hour wait. So we just ate at a bar down the street. Game was awesome.
Based on this and our "vacation" last summer, I think I'm going to stop trying to leave town or have fun in general.
Bummer, sorry to hear that. Nobody like being sick on vacation. The Blue Door is pretty small and can be really busy on the weekends. Supposedly they're opening a bigger one downtown Minneapolis sometime soon but that was just a rumor.
Just thought I would hijack this thread, as I am drinking, and let Wolf know that he is not the only Dr. here. I am now dispensing medical advice in the FPC, as I am a graduate (with honors) of the Peter Griffin School of Medicine.
I'm just happy to have the workload lessened. Do your thing, Dr.
You realize of course I am prescribing alcohol for everything right?
BTW, did you know the flu shot is full of Mercury? I am inclined to prescribe an alcohol enema. And don't you DARE disagree with my analysis.
