I brought mine out this week for the first time in years. It still worked great. Do you guys like them?
I like the grill better but didn't want to start it for 2 pork chops
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
I like it and we use it a lot but I hate cleaning it.
Aren't all of his kids - even the girls - named George?
I love them, used to have one when I lived in IC. I've actually been thinking about getting a new one recently. Chicken breasts on those things are soooooo delicious.

Yea I'm thinking about upgrading mine. I saw one on groupon
Oh you sneaky
Those are kind of tricky on there, at least for me. It seems one side cooks hotter than the other. So you have to flip them about half way through. Unless you have thin chicken breasts, then I guess it would be fine. But usually the breasts I get are fat.
Yup, I'd always flip mine. I had it perfected.
I don't use mine that much. Just when it's too damn cold out and I don't feel like grilling. What else do you use it for? I think I've only used mine for like chicken, burgers, and chops.
I've used it for chicken, burgers, brats, hot dogs, and chops, and some veggies wrapped in tin foils w/ butter, stuff like that.
I've had a couple of Georges over the years and really liked them for burgers, hot dogs and Brats. However, when I moved in with my GF she had a NuWave Convection oven and I started cooking on that. You can cook up some major good stuff on that thing. Pork Roasts, steaks, chops, ribs, etc, etc and they all cook to near perfection. I absolutely LOVE the thing. Still got a George but it doesn't come out of the closet nearly as often as it used to.
This is the same for me, cleaning it is such a pain. I have had mine for over 5 years, maybe the newer ones you can take out the inside, but if not, they really need to design it that way. Not being able to put it in the sink sucks
This. I enjoy cooking with it. Hate cleaning it.
i usually clean mine right away when it is still a little warm. it cleans up a little easier.
The major draw back I found over the years of grilling on a George, was that every one I ever had lost it's teflon no stick surface after a relatively low number of uses. After it started chipping off, I had to use PAM every time i wanted to cook on it.
