I have been on the streets of some big and medium cities at night and didn't really feel unsafe, more like uneasy.
Anybody else feel the same way?
Before there was space or time there was rock and roll.
Yeah. I don't have too many fears. Plus I'm a fairly large guy so that tends to scare off would be rapists.
Depends on the street.

People don't scare me all that much. Most can be reasoned with and I'm usually aware of my surroundings. Plus a beat down or getting mugged usually isn't that bad. You can get killed by a soccer mom running a stop light in the suburbs at any moment, so I don't worry too much about a desperate thug coming after me.
Possums. Now those little bastards scare me.
I usually feel pretty comfortable. I was out in STL one night when I dated my ex gf, it was just me and her, and I did feel a bit uneasy. Also got jumped outside of Kinnick one night a few years ago walking back from downtown. Even after that I never felt scared walking around in IC.

That's weird man.
Lulzkie. That did read kinda creepy.
I'm only really ever in the town I live in by myself and I always feel safe walking home from the bar or a friends house. Sometimes I am scared of getting bit by a dog or raccoon or something. If I were in a bigger city I probably would be more afraid.
I don't feel safe anywhere you guys know my luck,
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
And not because of people but more from the fact I could have an unknown jet engine fall on me out of nowhere Donnie Darko style.
I think I get more worried when I'm out fishing late at night by myself. There's a lot of shady freakin people that come out to parks in the middle of the night. Meth heads and what not. Also a lot of pot smokin hippies
I'm not really worried when walking around at night. I'm taller than a lot of people so I feel like most people don't mess with me even if they are bigger in the muscles than I am. Which is basically everyone.
"I was brought in here to change the culture. I'm going to coach with passion" - Fran McCaffery.
The good Lord watches over fools and drunks, so I'm protected on both accounts. I have nothing to be afraid of.
Well, that explains a lot on my end as well.
I tend to stay away from any city
gravel roads and skinny dippin
